Twitter will allow organisations to identify which Twitter accounts are associated with them. Elon Musk made the announcement via a tweet on Sunday. Musk also claimed that Twitter will be certifying the organisations.
In his tweet, he said, “Rolling out soon, Twitter will enable organizations to identify which other Twitter accounts are actually associated with them.”
Following the announcement, one Twitter user asked Musk if it would be Twitter that would decide which account belongs to an organisation and which doesn't.
To which Musk said, “Ultimately, I think there is no choice but for Twitter to be the final arbiter, but I’m open to suggestions.”

Elon Musk has not revealed the parameters of assessing official handles. However, this new feature could also be enrolled in the Twitter Blue subscription. Currently, Twitter has rolled back the subscription service, after the blue tick verified badge was misused by multiple paying accounts. The company has also stopped letting new Twitter accounts from using Twitter Blue.
In the company's blog, they said, "Twitter accounts created on or after November 9, 2022 will be unable to subscribe to Twitter Blue at this time."
