After months of speculations about the next iPhone's features, the Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus is finally here.
The Apple iPhone 7 launch event took place in Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco on Wednesday at 10 AM PDT (10:30 PM IST).
The new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are water and dust resistant. Both the iPhones have a 25 per cent better display than the predecessor and wide colour gamut cinema standard colour management. This has been integrated in the Apple iPhone 3D touch display.
Apple has also redesigned the home button by adding force touch. Known as Taptic feedback, it will be used for Quick Actions, messages, notifications.
The camera on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus has been further improvised, with the iPhone7 Plus featuring two 12MP cameras lenses built-in - telephoto and wide angle - can capture DSLR like images.
Apple ditched the 3.5mm audio port in favour of lightning headphones that will come along with lighting to headphone jack adapter too.
While the world is awed by the new iPhone, let's take a moment to look back at Apple's iPhone launches over the years:
