Airtel has recently introduced a new affordable plan for its fiber broadband service. Priced at Rs 219 the new plan is called the 'Broadband Lite' plan and is listed as the cheapest Airtel Xstream Fiber plan available for Airtel broadband users. With fast internet and added benefits, this plan is a great option for users looking for a budget-friendly option in the broadband segment.

The Airtel Xstream Broadband Lite plan costs Rs 219 per month and is only available for a yearly subscription. This means users will have to pay a total of Rs 3,101 to sign up for the plan. As for the benefits, the new lite plan provides users with a broadband speed of 10Mbps and comes with a free router.

According to 91 Mobiles, the new Airtel Broadband lite plan is only available in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh East, and Andhra Pradesh and does not include any OTT or live TV benefits. There is no update on if it will be available in other cities of the country later.

• The standard plan costs Rs 799 per month and offers up to 100 Mbps speed and a subscription to the Xstream Premium pack.
• The entertainment plan costs Rs 999 per month and includes up to 200 Mbps speed and subscriptions to Disney+ Hotstar, Amazon Prime, and Xstream Premium pack.
• The professional plan costs Rs 1,498 per month and offers up to 300 Mbps speed and a Netflix subscription. The most expensive plan costs Rs 3,999 per month and includes all benefits with up to 1Gbps speed.

Earlier, Airtel's rival Jio also launched a budget broadband plan last month called the Broadband back-up plan. The plan is priced at Rs 198 per month and offers a top internet speed of 10 Mbps. Users also have the option to upgrade their speed and get OTT benefits by paying extra. Jio broadband users can upgrade to 30 or 100 Mbps and avail a free STB, up to 500 live TV channels, and up to 14 OTT apps.
