Realme GT Master Edition launch is set for today in China. Also, the company is expected to unveil the GT Master Explorer Edition, which is a smartphone in the same series but with top-end specifications. The biggest difference between the regular Realme GT Master Edition and the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition is the processor. While the former is likely to come with a Snapdragon 778G processor, the top variant could use the Snapdragon 870 processor, which is better in terms of performance.
Rumours have suggested there will be more differences between these two editions, but Realme has not said anything yet. But it may talk about the two phones at the launch event that will be held virtually. Realme previously teased the looks of the GT Master Explorer Edition and confirmed it has been designed by the Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa.
Realme will hold an event at 2 pm local time in China, which means it is going to be 11.30 am in India. It will be live-streamed on the company's China website.
The Realme GT Master Edition's price is not clear but, according to rumours, the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition may start at CNY 2,999, which is roughly Rs 34,600.
Realme has teased one too many specifications about its upcoming phone, but it is likely these specifications belong to the top model, the GT Master Explorer Edition. Realme confirmed there will be up to 19GB of RAM on the phone, including 7GB through virtual RAM expansion. This phone will also use the Sony IMX766 sensor on the primary camera. This sensor is found on the Oppo Find X3 Pro and the OnePlus 9 Pro. This phone will also use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor.
Now, coming to the leaks, the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition would use a 6.55-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and pack a 4300mAh battery with 65W fast charging. It will run Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0. The rear camera system will have a 50-megapixel main camera, according to leaks.
The specifications of the Realme GT Master Edition would include a Snapdragon 778G processor, a 6.43-inch AMOLED 120Hz refresh rate display, a 64-megapixel triple-camera setup on the back, and a 4300mAh battery with 65W fast charging. This phone may have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
