#NDAnomics | What Does The Union Budget Have In Store For Industries?

In a meeting with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today, industry bodies PHDCCI, ASSOCHAM, FICCI, CII, and IMC asked for increased focus on manufacturing and more sectors to be covered under the PLI regime. They also requested the Budget makers to consider tax benefits across labor-intensive sectors.
