BookMyShow Aims To Establish India As A Global Entertainment Hub

On the sidelines of India’s largest beauty and fashion fest, Nykaaland BookMyShow tells Business Today how it’s been a great bounce back for live entertainment shows after the pandemic. Over the last six years, BookMyShow has been doing a lot of music fests and has migrated from just being a ticketing company to producing and designing events. Beauty events like Nykaaland are one big opportunity for the company, says Owen Roncon, who heads the Live Events space at BookMyShow. Going forward, he says, the live entertainment space is “gonna get louder” as the company looks forward to collaborating with some of the greatest artists in the world. The plan is to establish India as a global entertainment hub, BookMyShow says as India is now a melting pot of growing recreational preferences, with users lapping up unique experiences like never before.
