SpaceX marked a breakthrough in rocket technology with the successful landing of Starship’s “Super Heavy” booster on the tower’s mechanical arms, known as "Mechazilla." Minutes after launching from the Texas-Mexico border at sunrise, the 232-foot booster returned to the same platform and was caught mid-air by the tower’s “chopstick” arms. Elon Musk expressed his excitement, posting, "The tower has caught the rocket!!" on X. This was the fifth test flight of the nearly 400-foot-tall Starship, designed to achieve full reusability. NASA also plans to use Starship for future lunar missions. SpaceX has been perfecting booster recovery with its Falcon 9 rockets for nearly nine years, refining its reusable technology. Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group, shared a video of the launch, applauding Musk for his boldness and risk-taking, which continues to push the boundaries of space exploration.
