Jeet Adani, Gautam Adani’s younger son and director at Adani Airports has said the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport marks a major turning point for aviation growth in the Mumbai region and reflects years of effort by the Adani Group’s airport team. Speaking to India Today TV’s Marya Shakil, Jeet Adani said that Mumbai’s airport infrastructure has been under pressure for years. “For the last decade, Mumbai’s airport capacity has been largely capped. The Navi Mumbai airport changes that,” he said. According to him, the new airport will unlock long-term growth and improve global connectivity for the city. “It unlocks growth and global connectivity, and that’s what we are solving for,” he explained.
