PRS Oberoi, Who Redefined Indian Hospitality Through His Hotels, Dies At 94

One of the tallest stalwarts of the Indian hospitality industry is no more. P R S Oberoi, the man behind the Oberoi group of hotels, passed away this morning. He was 94. A recipient of the Padma Vibhushan, the second-highest civilian award in the country, P R S Oberoi is credited with opening up several heritage properties across India for the affluent traveler.
