Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a light-hearted moment with Revanth Reddy during a development event in Hyderabad, joking that it would be “better if you join me.” The remark came after Revanth Reddy urged the Centre to support Telangana the way the former UPA government supported Gujarat during Modi’s tenure as Chief Minister. Inaugurating projects worth ₹9,400 crore, Modi highlighted the Centre’s increased investment in Telangana, especially in railway infrastructure. He noted that the railway budget for Telangana alone now exceeds ₹5,500 crore, compared to ₹1,000 crore for undivided Andhra Pradesh earlier.
