
At the Adani Group AGM, Chairman Gautam Adani highlighted the conglomerate's aggressive expansion across infrastructure and energy sectors. The group invested over ₹1.5 lakh crore in infrastructure during FY26, accounting for more than 30% of India's total new private-sector capital expenditure. Adani Power is executing a ₹2 lakh crore expansion programme aimed at reaching 45 GW of generation capacity over the next five years. The group also announced plans to jointly develop 5,000 MW of hydropower projects in Bhutan with Druk Green Power Corporation. Additionally, Adani has entered the nuclear energy sector, targeting 10 GW of capacity by 2035.
