Following two days of continuous rain and severe waterlogging, a portion of the service road near IFFCO Chowk in Gurugram has caved in, creating a large sinkhole. The road collapse has affected one of the city’s busiest stretches and disrupted traffic movement. Officials from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and Gurugram Development Authority are at the spot, pumping out accumulated water before repair work begins. Multiple barricades have been placed by Gurugram Traffic Police to secure the area. Local residents have also spoken about the inconvenience caused by the road closure and traffic disruption.
