Novo Nordisk Launches Awiqli, World’s First Weekly Basal Insulin In India

Novo Nordisk has launched Awiqli (insulin icodec), the world’s first once-weekly basal insulin, in India. The company says the therapy could reduce the injection burden from 365 to 52 annually and help address delayed insulin initiation, a major challenge in diabetes care.
