
Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasised the strong and seamless partnership between India and Germany, built on shared values and mutual trust. Speaking from Gandhinagar, Gujarat, he highlighted mutually beneficial collaborations across sectors, including MSME manufacturing, IT and services, automotive, energy, machinery, and chemicals. These joint ventures and research collaborations have not only fostered innovation but have also boosted bilateral trade to nearly $50 billion. PM Modi also underscored the rapidly changing global landscape, noting how reliance on critical technologies and machinery is increasingly being weaponised. On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, he called for inspiration from Vivekananda’s message of self-reliance, responsibility, and national strength. In this context, he emphasised the shared responsibility to strengthen trusted and resilient supply chains, highlighting how the India-Germany partnership plays a decisive role in global trade and technological cooperation.
