Railways to fill up 1.51 lakh vacancies

Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal said it will fill up 1.51 lakh vacancies in the organization.

Presenting his first rail budget, Bansal said the Railways has joined the 1 billion tonne freight club and by end of 2013-14, 1,500 km of contracts to be awarded for two dedicated rail corridors.

The Railway Minister has set Rs1 lakh crore target set for public-private-partnership route.
