2016 Toyota Innova unveiled, India launch expected next year

Japanese car manufacturer Toyota has unveiled new Innova in Indonesia. The new model is expected to be launched in India by mid-2016.

It has a wheelbase of 2800mm, and will have 4745mm in length, 1820mm in width and 1800mm in height.

The front portion will have projector headlights with integrated DRLs and a large front grille. The rear end of the 2016 Toyota Innova will get horizontally shaped taillights.

It sports a 2.4L diesel engine producing 147bhp of power and maximum torque of 370Nm, supported by five-speed manual transmission and a six-speed automatic transmission.

The 2016 Toyota Innova will compete with Renault Lodgy and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga in India.
