Top CEO's participate in the LLOYD Business Today Pro-AM of Champions 2016

The 20th edition of the LLOYD Business Today Pro-Am of Champions teed off at the Kalhaar Blues and Greens, Ahmedabad on Saturday, October 24, 2015.

Played on the Stableford format with Double Peoria handicap, the cool October morning witnessed some great golfing action with players vying for both individual as well as team prizes.

In a close competition the team comprising Yash Shah, (M/s Kantilal Shantilal Bros), Vishal Desai, (Shreeji Marketing Corporation), Hetal Patel, (Challenge Plus) & Sandeep Ambalia, (Shivam Buildpro Pvt. Ltd.), prevailed with a combined score of 103 points.

The team comprising Piyush Shah, (Hitachi Hi-Rel Power Electronics Pvt Ltd.), Amod Joshi, (Anthem Inframinds), Nirav Shah, (Mantissa Infotech Pvt Ltd.) and Sharvil Parekh, (KellyGamma Advisors, LLP), finished second with 101 points.

There were several categories for the individual prizes, In the category 0-10 handicap Rajiv Vasa, VR Cotton was the winner with 38 points. Mukesh Panchal, Kaveen Infra Solutions P. Ltd. with a super effort of 35 points was the winner amongst the 11- 18 handicap category.  Sandip Ambalia played a great round to come up with his score of 37 points to win in the 19-24 handicap slot.

An S-Cross was up for grabs for a Hole-in-One on the 7th hole and was nearly claimed by Mr. Abhijit Vasa, Arcata Trade Links Pvt. Ltd, who missed out narrowly. The 4moles Closest to Pin for the day saw a hole-in-one by Malay Dalal of Progressive Corporate Services while the Nautica Most Stylish Golfer award was won by Amod Joshi of Anthem Inframinds.

Some of the other eminent golfers who participated amongst the coporate bigwigs of Ahmedabad included Piyush Shah, Managing Director, Hitachi Hi-Rel Power Electronics Pvt Ltd., Bharat Chokshi, Chairman & MD , Grand Polycoats Company P. Ltd., Sandip Ambalia, MD, Shivam Buildpro P. ltd., Rajiv Tanna, Professional Director, SRS Greens Technologies P. Ltd., Aditya Patel, CEO , Helios Pharmaceuticals, Mukesh Panchal, MD, Kaveen Infra Solutions P. Ltd., Munish Patell, CEO, Kensville Golf and Country Club, Manish Shah, MD, Prakash Chemicals International P. ltd., Behram Mehta, Chairman & MD, Aava Waters & Abhijit Vasa, Director, Arcata Trade links P. ltd.

The day's action culminated with the prize distribution ceremony followed by lunch. The winning team also earned themselves a place in the Pro-Am National finals to be held in Delhi in March 2016.
