Real estate and liquor baron Ponty Chadha, brother shot dead

Liquor and real estate baron Ponty Chadha and his younger brother Hardeep Chadha were shot dead at a farmhouse in Mehrauli on Saturday.

"As of now we have got the details that first Hardeep shot Ponty and immediately Ponty's gunmen shot Hardeep. The shooting was a result of a property dispute. The incident happened around 12.30 pm," a senior police official told IANS.

"Two security guards were injured in the incident. The bodies of the Chadhas and the injured security guards have been taken to AIIMS," police official added.

Earlier on October 5, a case of shooting had taken place inside Ponty Chadha's ancestral home in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh.
