Online retailer Snapdeal on Monday announced measures it has taken to ensure faster delivery of its products during the Unbox Diwali sale to be held from October 2-6.

"In the run up to Diwali, all pre-shipment checks on fast moving items like mobile phones, memory cards, power banks, personal care appliances, kitchen appliances, air conditioners, televisions, home theater systems, printers etc. has already been done, so that packets can be dispatched within minutes of the order being received. To ensure fast deliveries across the country, nearly 20,000 tonnes of cargo will move by air, for which bulk bookings have been done by Snapdeal's logistics partners," Snapdeal said in a release.
