Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza to get petrol variant soonVitara Brezza was launched seven months back in a dieselversions only. For a company like Maruti that depends heavily on Petrolengines, Brezza was a step in a new direction. The Brezza turned out to be ahit for the company and ended up selling more than 50,000 units in the firstsix months. Now reports suggest the company might soon launch a petrol versionof the Brezza.

The current Brezza comes with a single DDiS 200 dieselengine option whereas the petrol version might carry a 1.0L Boosterjet engine.The engine is also expected to feature on the Baleno RS anticipated to launchearly next year. These cars will be a part of Maruti's new engine line-up,under their 'TransformOtion' concept.

The new Brezza will be available in all three- L, V, Zvariants. The company has not released an official statement regarding therelease.
Maruti has also released a new service, called iCreate, forBrezza owners. A buyer will get an option of customising their Vitara Brezzawith 90 unique accessories before receiving the delivery. due to the highdemand, most buyers have to tolerate a waiting period of up to six months in afew cities.
