Rustom looks set to enter 100-crore club, Mohenjo Daro lags behind

Akshay Kumar's Rustom looks all set to enter the 100-crore club, with the film earning over Rs 75 crore in the first five days of its release.

According to Box Office India, the film's earning dipped on Tuesday to Rs 7.7 crore which was a working day after a long weekend, thanks to the Independence Day on Monday.

The  film had earned Rs 19.8 crore on Sunday and Rs 17.7 crore on Monday.

The earnings are expected to pick up again on Thursday owing to the festival of Raksha Bandhan.


Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan's Mohenjo Daro slumped on Tuesday earning Rs 3 crore nett. The film directed by Ashutosh Gowariker has made a total of Rs 43.2 crore in the first five days of its release.

Both films combined had earned Rs 80 crore in the box office over the weekend making it the second-highest weekend collection this year.

Salman Khan's big Eid release Sultan had collected Rs 180 crore in the first five days of its release.
