Tag Heuer launches India Racing Edition timepieces

Swiss watch maker Tag Heuer has launched the "India Racing Edition" special limited collection timepieces to commemorate India's 68th Independence Day.

The timepieces feature the numeral 60 at the 12 O'clock position in saffron colour. The same colour has been used in the thread stitching on the leather strap.

The top push button also has an orange band circling it to give it a burst of racing energy. The 'India Racing Edition' logo has been placed on the dial at 9 'o clock as well as on the sapphire crystal case back. Only 250 pieces of the TAG Heuer Carrera Tachymeter Chronograph "India Racing Edition" will be available for sale for Rs 3,25,000.

The company has also launched TAG Heuer Carrera MP4-12C Chronograph, a 1,000-piece limited edition timepiece that commemorates the 26-year partnership between TAG Heuer and McLaren Automotive. This time piece also has saffron thread stitching on the strap along with the saffron painted hands. This is priced at Rs 7,02,300.
