Sajjan Bhajanka, Chairman, Century Plyboards speaking at the BT Mindrush 2023, said, in the 1990s there was a huge demand for ply from China. India was exporting ply to China. But now China is self-sufficient in making the ply. You can say that the last 30 years was a lost opportunity, said Sajjan Bhajanka, who added that India will take the next 20 years to match present China. In conversation with Siddharth Zarabi, Managing Editor, Business Today TV, he said that he sees it more of a future opportunity, rather than a lost opportunity.
