imparting business education in the country, of which about 1,500 B-schools fulfil the criteria for participation in BT-MDRA B-school ranking 2014.
B-schools are doing a lot of experimentation and innovation in MBA programmes but they must assess demand-supply gap before starting specialised courses.
While a debate on the attractiveness or value of MBA education in India continues, there is an urgent need to review whether new institutes should be allowed to set up shop.
During the ranking exercise for Best B-schools, a comparison of institutes is carried out. The critical issue is: whose inputs to take for these comparisons?
