Apple iOS 6 to have better Facebook integration

Apple on Wednesday announced that it will release a new version of its phone software, iOS 6, which will have a better tie-in with Facebook.

Apple also announced that it will improve the phones' virtual assistant, Siri, through which a user can post a status update on Facebook .

iOS 6 will have a new mapping software as Apple ditches the one from Google it had been using. The new software will have turn-by-turn voice navigation - a feature Google had limited to Android versions of its mapping app.
