Tata Communications Q3 loss at Rs 197.41 cr

Tata group firm Tata Communications on Monday, posted a consolidated loss of Rs 197.41 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010.

This is against a net profit of Rs 30.18 crore during the same period last financial year, Tata Communications said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Consolidated revenue during the reported quarter stood at Rs 3,018 crore from Rs 2,770.91 crore, up 8.91 per cent.

Global voice solutions contributed Rs 1,623.99 crore, while global data and managed services vertical accounted for Rs 1,187.71 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2010.
