Amazfit and Zepp may launch new wearables at CES 2021

The company has now confirmed that it will launch some more wearables under the GT 2 series at the biggest tech event, CES 2021.

After unveiling the GTR 2 and GTS 2, Amazfit is eying to launch more smartwatches under the GT 2 series. The company has now confirmed that it will launch some more wearables under the GT 2 series at the biggest tech event, CES 2021. Amazfit had so far made the GTR 2, GTS 2 and GTS 2 mini official in India and other countries.

As per a report by GSM arena, Amazfit has confirmed launching more smartwatches and wearables under the GT 2 series during the CES 2021. The devices that are expected to debut at the CES could be the GTS 2e, GTR2e, cheaper versions of the GTS and GTR that were already launched in China. The mellowed down version would not come with wifi connectivity but extended battery life.

While Amazfit GTS 2 mini has been launched in India and China, it has not been launched in a lot of other markets. Apart from Amazfit, Zepp, which is the sister company, would launch wearables Zepp E Square and Zepp E Circle at the CES 2021. The CES takes place every time in Las Vegas, United States but this time it will take place virtually.

Coming back to the GTR 2 and GTS 2, The Amazfit GTR 2 sports edition is priced at Rs 12,999, the class edition costs Rs 13,999 whereas the Amazfit GTS 2 costs Rs 12,999 and the GTS 2 mini is available at Rs 6999.

Amazfit GTS 2 and GTR 2 both come with 90+ sports modes while the GTS 2 mini has only 70 modes, A feature that is present in both the GTS 2 and GTR 2 but not present in the GTS 2 mini is the presence of a built-in speaker. This allows users to pair their headphones or earbuds with the watch and listen to music. The smartwatches also have internal storage of 3GB which can help them store up to 600 songs. This feature is however not available in the GTR.

Apart from that, all the three smartwatches come with sensors including Acceleration sensor, Gyroscope sensor, Geomagnetic sensor, Ambient light sensor, Vibration Motor, BioTracker 2 PPG bio-tracking optical heart rate sensor. The Amazfit GTR 2 houses a big 471 mAh battery that the company claims can last up to 14 days with normal use. The Amazfit GTS 2, on the other hand, houses a 220mAh battery which can also last up to 14 days. The GTS 2 also houses a 220mAh battery.
