Altec Lansing launches range of Bluetooth speakers in India

A well known name in the audio space, Altec Lansing has re-entered the Indian market with its 'Everything proof' audio range. The new portfolio includes both - Bluetooth speakers and headsets .

The waterproof Mini H2O speaker has been priced at Rs 3,600 and features aux in and Bluetooth for connectivity and mic for speakerphone capability. It has got 33feet range and up to 6 hours of battery backup.

The Mini Lifejacket 2 priced at Rs 8,000 and Lifejacket 2 for Rs 14,000 have got similar set of features with improved batterylife. The latter even supports NFC and voice commands.

The headphones range start from Rs 3,350 and goes up to Rs 7,999 for wireless headphones. Altec Lansing will introduce high-end home audio solutions in India next year.

Named as 'everything proof' range, the products under this range will have features such as dustproof, sand proof, shockproof, snow proof and waterproof.

Altec Lansing has been licensed in India by Trade Bazaarhas. The company has tied up with Flipkart for the online sales and will also set up a nationwide distribution channel for offline sales. When questioned about Make in India plans, the company revealed that they have teamed up with Konark Group for manufacturing in India.  However, the current lot of speakers will be imported in India and all products will come with one year warranty.
