Micromax to launch Canvas Spark in India tomorrow

Eyeing affordable smartphone market once again, Micromax will launch the Canvas Spark in the Indian market on April 21, Tuesday.

Last week, the company revealed its plan to launch a smartphone exclusively on Snapdeal and now the company has shared media invites for the launch even in New Delhi.

According to the rumour mill, the Canvas Spark will have a 4.7 inch display, a MediaTek MT6582 quad-core processor, microSD card slot and will be a dual SIM smartphone.

The Spark is expected to run on Android Lollipop operating system.

Expected to be priced under Rs 6,000, the Spark will compete against the recently launched Motorola Moto E (Gen 2) and Xiaomi Redmi 2.
