Just a few hours from now, Apple will be conducting its yearly September event which will introduce us to one of the most promising smartphones of this year. The Apple iPhone 7 is rumoured to change the smartphone camera game with its new Dual-lens setup. Apart from that, the new iPhone might also get an immense boost in processing power.

India is the third largest smartphone market in the world and considering that, Apple won't make the mistake of neglecting this massive demography. With just a penetration rate of 30 per cent so far, India has an immense scope for growth in the smartphone sector. Apple has tried to tap some of that growth in the previous years. It registered an impressive 56 per cent growth year-on-year.

Tim Cook's recent visit and the inauguration of a Development Office in Hyderabad this year is indicative of the fact that Apple has strong plans for the Indian consumer. All these nuances and the previous years' launch date signals towards iPhone 7's early arrival on Indian shores. Also, India's festive season is on the horizon and every smartphone company will try to throw their best bet in the market.
