Google's new Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P smartphones continue to create a buzz before they are launched officially later on Tuesday, with latest reports revealing details about the devices' pricing, pre-order dates and availability.

The tech firm is expected to launch the smartphones, believed to be made by LG (Nexus 5x) and Huawei (Nexus 6P), alongside the next-generation Chromecast dongle.

According to a report by Android Police, smartphone buyers in US, UK, Korea, Japan and Ireland will be able to pre-order Nexus 5X starting Tuesday. The device will be priced at $379.99 (approximately Rs 25,520) for the 16 GB model, the report added. This will make the device much cheaper than its predecessor, Nexus 5, which was launched in 2013 for Rs 28,999 (16 GB).

The device is said to be available in Carbon, Quartz, and Ice Blue colours, according to an earlier Amazon India listing.

Huawei's Nexus 6P, on the other hand, is set to be the high-end Nexus device this year. According to Android Police, the smartphone will be priced at $499.99 (approximately Rs 33,000) for the 32GB model. The phone, said to be the first all-metal Nexus smartphone, will also boast superior hardware and components than the Nexus 5X.

Another report has said that Google will sell the new smartphones online only, via its Google Store. Even though Amazon India had listed the Nexus 5X briefly on its website last week, it's uncertain if the tech giant will partner online stores for sale of the new devices in India.
