Lenovo has
updated its IdeaPad consumer PCs for Windows 8 with new sleek Y and Z series laptops.
The new IdeaPad Y500 is aimed at mobile gamers and will be a
multimedia powerhouse thanks to unique features like the UltraBay, which will let users instantly swap out for dual graphics capability, increased storage space or an additional fan for cooling.
It also features an eye-catching carbon fibre patterned cover, 15.6-inch LED backlit widescreen HD displays, and a dual-layer backlit AccuType keyboard with a large one-piece touchpad. The Lenovo IdeaPad Y500 will cost Rs 64,290.
The IdeaPad Z500, meanwhile, claims to be among the
slimmest laptops available in the Indian market. Despite the thin built it will have third generation standard voltage Intel Core i7 processors on a soft-touch exterior and 15.6-inch LED backlit HD widescreen display. At Rs 48,990, it will be among the cheapest laptops available with the top of the line Intel Core i7 processor.
