Microsoft has brought Solitaire game collection to Windows 10, its latest operating system, but with a twist. The collection, with Klondike, Freecell and Spider solitaire variants, comes with advertisements.

If you want to avail the service without ads, you need to pay for it. Microsoft is offering the Solitaire Collection Premium Edition for $1.50 a month, or $10 a year.

The premium collection not only does away with the ads but also offers more coins for completing "Daily Challenges" and a boost when you play TriPeaks or Pyramid. This is not the first time that Microsoft is asking customers to pay for removal of ads. The company had similar features on Windows 8.1 version, too.

Many experts find the move odd as the US technology giant is offering a free upgrade to Windows 10.
