Nikon launches two DSLRs in India

Nikon D4s is a high-end flagship camera while D3300 is the new entry-level DSLR.

Nikon, which claims a 55 per cent market share in the DSLR camera segment in India, has launched two new cameras, the Nikon D4s and the Nikon D3300.

The Nikon D4s is a high-end flagship camera while the D3300 is the new entry-level DSLR. The D4s is successor to the D4. It is a full-frame camera offering Full HD video recording at 60 frames per second. It has EXPEED 4 image processing engine and a new 16.2 MP FX-format CMOS sensor. The camera has a maximum ISO of 25,600 and is priced at Rs 4,19,950.

The entry-level DSLR priced at Rs 37,950 for the body with AF-S 18-55mm VRII Kit and aimed at the first-time photographers. It has a 24.2MP DX-format CMOS sensor, full HD video recording as 60fps and EXPEED 4 image processing engine. It features 13 special effect modes and various retouch menu options to extend the enjoyment of photographic expression.
