Government-owned telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has increased the validity of a special tariff voucher (STV) of Rs 198 by five days. Starting today, that is June 1, BSNL will give 50 days validity with the Rs 198 prepaid plan. BSNL's Rs 198 prepaid plan gives 2GB daily data. BSNL will also add Lokdhun content with this plan from June 1, 2021, but will remove existing BSNL Tunes from this STV. BSNL users can activate this plan C Top Up or Online Recharge Portal or Selfcare. The offer is applicable to all the existing as well as new prepaid mobile customers of BSNL in any plan.
BSNL revises Rs 499 plan:
BSNL has further revised Rs 499 prepaid plan to offer 2GB daily data from June 1 at no additional cost. Until now it only gave 1GB of daily data. BSNL Rs 499 plan now gives unlimited calls to any network, 2GB daily data, unlimited domestic calls, 100 free SMS per day to any network in India without any restrictions. and Zing Music app subscription for 90 days.
BSNL has also introduced a new Rs 499 broadband plan for Andaman and Nicobar circle that offers 10Mbps download speed up to 40GB with a post FUP download speed of 512Kbps. The plan is applicable for all new BSNL fiber broadband customers for six months after which they are migrated to the 150GB plan. All BSNL users -- new and existing -- can subscribe to the revised broadband plans in Andaman and Nicobar circle. There are seven FTTH and five DSL broadband plans. Regular users can opt for BSNL promotional broadband plans till July 2021. BSNL has also launched Air FIbre Plans separately.
BSNL vouchers under Rs 100
BSNL recently revised vouchers under Rs 100. The Rs 98 special tariff voucher from BSNL gives 2GB of data per day after which the speed is reduced to 40 Kbps. There is also a Rs 97 prepaid plan that BSNL offers with 2GB daily data which is reduced to 80 Kbps when data is exhausted. The plan also gives unlimited calls with 100 SMS and Lokhun content. BSNL is also giving a Rs 99 plan that gives 22 days of unlimited voice calls.
