Microsoft is currently focusing on integrating OpenAI's AI, ChatGPT, across its products. The tech giant recently added generative AI support to Bing and are now working on enhancing its capabilities and making it accessible to more users. While Bing Chat is already available for users on the Microsoft Edge web browser, Microsoft has also introduced the Bing Chat app for Android and iOS devices. Additionally, Microsoft has introduced a new widget that provides a shortcut to Bing Chat. Initially available for Android, the widget can now be added to the home screen of iPhones as well.
Microsoft has updated its Bing app for iOS with two new widgets. Once installed, the widgets allow users to start a chat with Bing with a single tap. Notably, these widgets were previously only available on Android.
"We've launched a new Bing Chat widget you can add to iOS. Once installed, you can initiate chat from your Home screen. If you have an iOS device, instructions for how to add widgets to your Home screen can be found here (as previously announced, this is already available on Android)," reads the official blog post by Microsoft.

Meanwhile, Microsoft has also improved the performance of the voice input button on the Bing mobile app for iOS and Android. The button now indicates that it is listening instantly when tapped. In addition, Microsoft has expanded voice language support for the Bing mobile app.
"This week, we released text-to-speech support for even more languages: Arabic, Bulgarian, Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Filipino, Finnish, Greek, Gujrati, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Irish, Italian, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Marathi, Norsk Bokmål, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Urdu," notes Microsoft.
The recent updates are aimed to make it easier for users to interact with Bing using their voice, regardless of their language.
