Oppo Reno 7 Pro is coming to India soon. The company has begun teasing that the "Portrait Expert" phone is going to be launched in India soon. The Reno 7 Pro originally arrived in China last year along with two other phones, the Reno 7 and the Reno 7 SE. While Oppo has not said anything about the other two phones, a report from last year suggested the company will launch only two Reno 7 series models, the Reno 7 Pro and the Reno 7.
"We set out to engineer the best and this time it is even better than you could imagine," said Oppo on Twitter, hinting at the upcoming launch of the Reno 7 and Reno 7 Pro. The Reno 7 series phones are successors to the Reno 6 and Reno 6 Pro, both of which were launched in India last year. While the Reno 6 Pro arrived as one of the most beautiful phones of the year, the Reno 6 was not only pretty but also value for money. In fact, the Reno 6 was among Oppo's best-selling phones last year.
Whether or not the Reno 7 and Reno 7 Pro will be able to achieve that will depend on their specifications and price in India. We already know the specifications because the phone is already on sale in China, but we can only guess what price the company will set for the two phones in India. The launch dates are also not confirmed yet.
The Oppo Reno 7 starts at CNY 2,699, which is roughly Rs 31,600. We can expect the phone to cost more than that, considering the price of predecessors. It comes in Morning Gold, Starry Night Black, and Star Rain Wash colours.
The Oppo Reno 7 Pro's starting price is CNY 3,699. In Indian Rupees, it will be roughly Rs 44,000, and that is going to be the ballpark for the Reno 7 Pro's cost in India. The phone comes in Mu Xuejin, Starry Night Black, and Star Rain Wash colours.
The Reno 7 Pro is the highest-end phone in the lot, which is why you see premium-level specifications on it. It has a 6.55-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with up to 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate, along with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 MAX processor and runs Android 11-based ColorOS 12. Its rear cameras include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor, a wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies, there is a 32-megapixel camera. Oppo Reno 7 Pro uses a 4500mAh battery with 65W fast charging.
