Sony is all set to drop its upcoming flagship TWS earbuds in the market soon. The audio company is gearing to launch the Sony WF-1000XM4 in the market. Although the company has not made any official announcements, several reports have confirmed the price, specifications of the flagship device. The WF-1000XM4 will be a successor to the WF-1000XM3 that was launched by the company last year. The XM4 would come with many upgrades over the XM3.
Earlier, only the renders of the Sony WF-1000XM4 were leaked online but now even the price of the earbuds have appeared in a Slovakian website. As per the Walkman blog, the Sony WF-1000XM4 has already been listed on a website. The listing reveals the complete specifications of the device along with its price. The Sony WF-1000XM4 has been priced at 279.90 (approximately Rs 24,000), as per the listing on the Slovakian website. Now coming to the features, a leaked video has confirmed that the device will come with features including active noise cancellation, wireless charging, and speak-to-chat and more.
Sony WF-1000XM4 will come with active noise cancellation that was also present in the WF-1000XM3 but the upcoming device will use a different processor which will enhance the performance of the ANC. The Sony WF-1000XM4 will be powered by a new Sony V1 integrated processor instead of a QN1e processor which was found in the WH-1000XM3.
Another highly-anticipated feature is the speak-to-chat feature that was previously seen in the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones in 2020. The feature turns on transparency mode and stops the music when it hears the users voice. The device will come with an IPX4 rating for sweat and water resistance. This is a welcome change over the WF-1000XM3 that had no sweat or water resistance. Coming to the battery life, the reports have claimed that the XM4 would arrive with improved battery life. If reports are to be believed, the device would go on for 8 hours on a single charge with the ANC on and without the ANC, it can go on for 12 hours.
