Vistara enters fare war, offers free ticket with every purchase

New Delhi-based Vistara Airlines, a JV between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, is offering a complimentary air ticket to flyers with purchase of every business class ticket.

"Travel our Business Class between 12th August to 30th September, 2015 and get a complimentary Premium Economy ticket," Vistara said.

The voucher will be handed over the flyer in person, on board the aircraft. The flyer can use the complementary premium economy ticket later.

Airlines in India have been announcing discount offers to attarct customers in a fiercely competitive market.

Of late, Jet Airways has announced the 'Freedom Sale scheme' to celebrate the 69th Independence Day. Tickets for the sale can be purchased at a 30 per cent flat discount on the first class, premiere and economy class from India to destinations across its network.
