Mahindra and Mahindra, India's leading sports utility vehicle (SUV) manufacturer in terms of revenue, owes much of its success to models like the XUV 700 and Scorpio N. However, it has faced challenges in the compact SUV market, which has long been dominated by competitors such as Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Hyundai Venue. To address this gap, Mahindra has unveiled the XUV 3XO compact SUV at its Nashik plant in Maharashtra, signaling its intent to compete more aggressively in this segment.
