Gandhi has demanded Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation and said the allegations should be investigated. These are allegations made by Gandhi and the Opposition, not established findings. The political row comes after an Indian Express report said Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi had formally raised objections at least 14 times over 10 months on issues including changes to Form 6, voter-roll management and the handling of deletion appeals in West Bengal.
