At the 30th CII Partnership Summit, Union Minister Piyush Goyal outlined India’s strategic approach to global partnerships in the new geopolitical and geoeconomic order. Highlighting three core principles — Atmanirbharata (self-reliance), Atma Vishwas (self-confidence), and Atmaraksha (protection of mankind) — he emphasised India’s commitment to building robust supply and value chains, engaging confidently as an equal partner with the world, and safeguarding the interests of all. Speaking about economic reforms, he also mentioned recent GST overhauls that aim to simplify taxation, boost consumer spending, and drive consumption-led growth. With seven sessions covering trade, industry, sustainability, technology, and inclusive growth, the summit promises to strengthen resilient partnerships and foster collaboration between India and friendly nations.
