100% Ethanol Allowed: Gadkari Signs New Rules; Hydrogen Buses Coming To Nagpur

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has officially signed regulations legally authorizing the use of $100% ethanol as a viable petrol alternative. Launching a flex-fuel Maruti Suzuki WagonR alongside Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Gadkari revealed that Hero MotoCorp has introduced two $100\%$ ethanol-compatible motorcycles. Major auto manufacturers including Toyota, Suzuki, MG, and Hyundai are scheduled to launch flex-fuel vehicles within the next 45 days. Silencing long-time critics, Gadkari also announced a green energy pilot project in Nagpur featuring a dedicated hydrogen pump and the launch of India's first water-extracted green hydrogen-powered public buses.
