Parliament Monsoon Session: Delhi Traffic Alert, Tight Security | Shivani Sharma Ground Report

India Today’s Shivani Sharma reports from New Delhi as tight security and special traffic arrangements come into force around Parliament for the Monsoon Session beginning July 20. Delhi Traffic Police has warned of heavy vehicular movement, restrictions and congestion across Central Delhi. Commuters have been advised to avoid Rafi Marg, Motilal Nehru Marg, Maulana Azad Road, K Kamaraj Marg, Raisina Road, Parliament Street, Ashoka Road, Talkatora Road and other stretches. Additional barricades and security personnel have been deployed around the Parliament complex. Rain in parts of Delhi is further slowing traffic, prompting motorists to leave early and plan alternate routes.
