Neyveli Lignite Q2 net up 32 per cent to Rs 343 crore

Public sector Neyveli Lignite Corporation has registered a 32.4 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 343.40 crore for the second quarter ending September 30, 2015.

The Tamil Nadu based company had recorded Rs 259.35 crore net profit during the corresponding period of the previous year, the company said in a BSE filing.

Total income from operations for the quarter grew to Rs 1,715.91 crore from Rs 1,402.49 crore registered during the year ago period.
