Balurghat Assembly Election 2026

Polling for the BALURGHAT Assembly seat will take place in the first phase on April 23, 2026.

In the 2021 election for the BALURGHAT seat, the runner-up was AITC candidate Sekhar Dasgupta. They were defeated by BJP candidate Ashok Kumar Lahiri. Sekhar Dasgupta secured a total of 58693 votes, losing by a margin of 13436 votes.
