Hansan Assembly Election 2026

Polling for the HANSAN Assembly seat will take place in the first phase on April 23, 2026.

Vote counting and the declaration of results for the HANSAN Assembly seat, along with all constituencies of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, will be held on May 4, 2026.

In the 2021 election for the HANSAN seat, the runner-up was BJP candidate Nikhil Banerjee. They were defeated by AITC candidate Dr. Asok Kumar Chattopadhyay. Nikhil Banerjee secured a total of 57676 votes, losing by a margin of 50613 votes.
