Tamluk Assembly Election 2026

Polling for the TAMLUK Assembly seat will take place in the first phase on April 23, 2026.

Vote counting and the declaration of results for the TAMLUK Assembly seat, along with all constituencies of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, will be held on May 4, 2026.

In the West Bengal Assembly Elections 2021, the TAMLUK seat was won by AITC. The winning candidate, Saumen Kumar Mahapatra, secured 108243 votes. The runner-up was from BJP, whose candidate Hare Krishna Bera received 107450 votes.

In the previous election in TAMLUK, Saumen Kumar Mahapatra secured victory as a candidate from AITC. They received a total of 108243 votes, accounting for a vote share of 45.9%.

In the 2021 election for the TAMLUK seat, AITC candidate Saumen Kumar Mahapatra won with 108243 votes. They defeated BJP candidate Hare Krishna Bera by a margin of 793 votes. Hare Krishna Bera received 107450 votes in total.

In the 2021 election for the TAMLUK seat, the runner-up was BJP candidate Hare Krishna Bera. They were defeated by AITC candidate Saumen Kumar Mahapatra. Hare Krishna Bera secured a total of 107450 votes, losing by a margin of 793 votes.
