Best companies to work for in India

The annual BT-PeopleStrong Survey, carried out in association with Naukri.com, lists out the best companies to work for in India. The survey finds out that employees are looking for more meaning than money.

ACCENTURE

TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES (TCS)
RANK: 3

Though known as a caring workplace, TCS has slipped from the No. 1 position it held last year. It has innovative HR initiatives such as 'Mpower', aimed at resolving individual employee issues, and 'Maitree', which reaches out to employees' families.

INFOSYS

Infosys remains in the top-10 list, but has slipped from the No. 2 slot it held last year.  The company encourages regular communication with employees.

Larsen and Toubro has moved up from the No. 10 position it held last year. It prefers to groom leaders within the organisation, believing that few outside can match the quality of its workforce in heavy engineering and construction.

IBM
