SpiceJet enters another fare war, announces Re 1 base fare

Budget airline SpiceJet on Tuesday triggered another fare war by announcing base fare of Re 1 (taxes and fees extra) for bookings between April 1 and April 3, 2014.

Customers can travel between  July 1, 2014 and 28 March, 2015 on daily flights of SpiceJet, the airline said on its website.

The sale will be applicable only on direct flights of SpiceJet's new domestic network. Seats available under this offer are limited and availability is on a first-come-first-serve basis.

In addition to the Re 1/- offer, discounted fares are also available for Rs.799 and Rs.1,499, and at other attractive rates (statutory taxes and fees not inclusive), depending on specific flight and date of travel.
